Biography

Gheida received her undergraduate degree in Software Engineering with first class honours at Birmingham City University in 2006.

She studied a Master of Research in Electronic, Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Birmingham 2008. Her master thesis was in the Educational Technology field and was supervised by Dr.Susan Bull.

She worked as a student support assistant for two years at Birmingham Metropolitan College and a student mentor at Birmingham City University for 1 year.

Research Interests

Her research focus is on Data Fusion, Second Language Acquisition and Speech and Gesture Recognition.

Outside her work and study, she is interested in travelling, cooking and camping.

Current Project

Gheida's main research focus is on modelling human behaviour from body motion.
